Full House Renovation in Dorset – Roof, First Fix & Oak Porch Complete

Our full house renovation project in Dorset is continuing to progress, and we're now reaching an exciting stage of the build.

With the main structural work progressing, the new roof is now going on, transforming the appearance of the property and bringing the renovation one step closer to becoming a finished home.

Roofing Work Underway

The new roof is now taking shape, with our carpentry team working through the roof structure and associated timber work.

This is a major milestone for the project. Once the roof is completed, the building will become increasingly weatherproof, allowing the focus to move towards the internal stages of the renovation.

Electrical & Plumbing First Fix

With the structure progressing, we've also welcomed our electricians and plumbers to site to begin the first fix installations.

Getting these services into place at this stage is an important part of the build, allowing the electrical and plumbing systems to be installed before the walls are closed up and the internal finishing work begins.

It's one of those stages that won't necessarily be visible in the finished house, but careful planning and installation now is essential to creating a properly finished home later.

The Oak Porch

Another part of the project that is now complete is the oak porch.

The traditional oak construction adds a beautiful feature to the front of the property and works particularly well alongside the character of the existing building.

It's a great example of how carefully considered carpentry can combine traditional materials with a complete modern renovation.

The Next Stage

The project is now moving steadily towards the next phase, with the roof progressing and the first fix services underway.
